After what seems like ages, in which barely any progress was visible for guests in the Walt Disney Studios Park, now the growth of the Tower of Terror can be witnessed easily day by day. While the walls of the entrance / lobby building are still barely reaching to the first floor, the main building (which houses the drop shafts) is already growing into the third floor. The temproary construction stairway at the back of the building gives a good comparison of the height already reached.
While the majority of the openings in the concrete structure are in the front section (facing toward La Terrasse), there are smaller opening also on the two small sides of the building and several openings also on the backside of the building. The latter gives hope that the back of the building will be themed as well, as different from the three parks that so far have a version of this ride, in the WDS guests will frequently see the back of the building from inside the park. The pace of the vertical construction is impressive, especially since the tower in Paris is a concrete construction, compared to the steel-frame building used e.g. in Anaheim.

Erst war scheinbar für Monate kein Fortschritt sichtbar, doch nun kann jeder Gast des Walt Disney Studios Parks das Wachstum des Tower of Terror ohne weiteres täglich mitverfolgen. Während die Wände des Eingangs-/Lobby-Gebäudes gerade bis zum 1. Stock reichen, wächst das Hauptgebäude (in dem sich die Drop-Shafts befinden werden) bereits in den 3. Stock. Die Bautreppe an der Rückseite des Hauptgebäudes gibt dabei einen guten Eindruck von der bereits erreichten Höhe.
Die Mehrzahl der Öffnungen in den Betonwänden finden sich erwartungsgemäß an der Front (La Terrasse zugewandt), doch auch an den beiden Seiten finden sich kleine Öffnungen. Selbst an der Rückseite wurden Öffnungen ausgespaart. Damit kann Hoffnung aufkommen, dass auch die Rückseite thematisch gestaltet wird. Anders als in den Parks, die bisher einen Tower haben, werden die Gäste in den Studios nämlich regelmäßig aus dem Park auf die Rückseite des Towers blicken. Die Geschwindigkeit des vertikalen Wachstums ist momentan beeindruckend - vorallem wenn man bedenkt, dass anders als z.B. in Anaheim, in Paris kein Stahlskelett sondern eine Betonkonstruktion errichtet wird.
