Das Disney Village befindet sich in der Mitte einer langfristigen Verwandlung. Im neuesten Schritt Schritt wurde die Sichtlinie durch die Straße freigeräumt, in dem die großen Säulen entfernt wurden - an ihrer Stelle finden sich nun große, quadratische Sitzinseln mit Holzoberfläche, da die Fundamente der Säulen noch nicht entfernt wurde. Im selben Schritt wurden auch die Schilder der Sports Bar und von New York Sandwiches entfernt, die ebenfalls mitten in der Strasse saßen und damit die Sichtlinie blockierten. An ihrer Stelle finden sich nun großflächige graphische Gestaltungen an der Fassade der beiden Restaurants. Doch auch ein kleineres drei-dimensionales Element könnte noch folgen - allerdings nicht auf der Straße aufgestellt. Denn an der vorgestreckten Dachfassade ist bereits etwas aufgetaucht, das stark an eine Halterung für ein Werbeschild erinnert.
Außerdem hat das Disney Village auch einige alte Freunde wieder willkommen geheißen - das Rock'n'Roll-Tänzer-Paar, das ursprünglich in einer der ihrer Verkleidung beraubten Säulen platziert war. Nun steht es auf dem Boden direkt neben der Freitreppe, die in den Planet Hollywood führt.

In the latest step the sight line through the street has been "cleared" by removing the columns - in their place now huge, square wooden seeting "isles" can be found, since the foundations of the columns had to be covered. In the same process also the signs of the Sports Bar and New York Sandwiches which were blocking the sightline with their large structures located in the middle of the street have been removed as well. Instead new, two-dimensional signs consisting of several graphic elements are now adoring large sections of the facade of the two restaurants. But a smaller three dimension element not located on the street may be added soon, as an what seems to be an according mount can already be spotted high above the two restaurants on the extended facades.
In addition the Disney Village also welcomed back some old friends - the Rock'n'Roll dancing couple in the last years located in one of the columns after that had been stripped in the lower parts of its cover, has now been put on the ground floor next to the large stairway leading up into the Planet Hollywood.
