EuroDisney S.C.A. today announced further details for the capital increase approved by the shareholders' meeting on the 17th December 2004. As had been announced earlier already, the complete 253,347,188 Euro must be raised by issuing new shares.
New are the details who already confirmed that he will buy shares and which options all other shareholders will have. The Walt Disney Company as major shareholder of the group has been confirmed to contribute in a major way to the capital increase by buying 1,111,111,112 of the new shares. An additional 217,310,879 shares will be bought by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who maintaines his current stake in the group with this step after initial rumors last year that he was unhappy with the performance and might decrease his stake by not buying any of the new shares.
All other shareholders will have the opportunity to maintain their current stake in the group and thereby contribute to the financial restructuring: they can order shares of the new issuing for 0.09 Euro per share during a a preferential subscription period starting between January 31 and February 8.

EuroDisney S.C.A. hat heute neue Details zu der Kapitalerhöhung bekannt gegeben, die auf der Aktionärsversammlung am 17. Dezember abgenickt worden war. Wie schon bekannt müssen die gesamten 253.347.188 Euro durch die Ausgabe neuer Aktien erzielt werden.
Neu sind aber die Details zu den Personen, die bereits die Abnahme von Aktien zugesagt haben. Demnach wird The Walt Disney Company als Hauptaktionär der Gruppe auch 1.111.111.112 der neuen Aktien kaufen. Weitere 217.310.879 Aktien erwirbt Prinz Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, der damit seinen aktuellen Anteil aufrechterhält, nachdem im vergangenen Jahr Gerüchte aufgetaucht waren, er sei mit der Leistung der Gruppe unzufrieden und werde daher keine neuen Aktien mehr übernehmen. Alle anderen Aktionäre erhalten die Gelegenheit, ebenfalls ihren Anteil an der Gruppe zu wahren, indem sie während einer exklusiven Vorkaufsfrist vom 31. Januar bis 8. Februar Aktien zum Preis von 0,09 Euro erwerben.
